MISCONDUCT POLICY


It is the policy of Wescot Energy (WE) to provide the best possible work environment and ensure orderly operations. Every WE employee should understand that an employee’s conduct reflects on the Company. Therefore, all employees are encouraged to observe the highest standards of professionalism at all times.

It is not possible to list all forms of misconduct that are considered unacceptable in the workplace. The following type of conduct may amount to misconduct, which shall be regarded as cause for disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment at the sole discretion of the Company.

  • Being drunk or under the influence of any drug while on duty
  • Illegal drug use or alcohol at work
  • Fighting
  • Sexual harassment at workplace
  • Stealing
  • Subjecting people to discrimination
  • Falsifying time records
  • Falsification of accounts
  • Negligence
  • Bribery
  • Gross Insubordination/disobedience/misappropriation
  • Conviction of a felony
  • Financial Misconduct

To prevent and address the above-mentioned prohibited conducts, WE encourages all staffs to report any concerns or complaints of misconduct. All complaints which are brought to the attention of Managers or Supervisors shall be addressed/reported promptly and appropriately, treated in the strictest confidence and investigated thoroughly to ensure the complaint handling process is fair and reasonable in avoiding false accusations.
